Michael Schoengold Beatty

I'm a Business Operations Lead at Palantir Technologies, where I focus on building scalable operational systems for enterprise transformation. My career spans defense, diplomacy, and technology, with roles at the highest levels of the U.S. government.

Most recently, I served as Chief of Staff at the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, where I managed strategic initiatives and operational planning. Prior to that, I was Deputy Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense and a Director on the National Security Council at the White House.

My experience includes field work in Afghanistan managing a USAID program in Helmand province, roles at the State Department working on the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, and private sector experience at IBM and Deloitte Middle East.

I hold a degree from Georgetown University and am a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Outside of work, I'm passionate about military history, naval affairs, and spending time with my family.
